Agreed. But if it actually works, the biggest problem I see other than the probable cause one, is that approaching a vehicle with that "futuristic ray gun" in hand could cause some severe problems for the Cop, especially if he has no back-up.

Traffic stops are usually done by a lone Cop, often a motorcycle Cop.

It is a risky business at best..

I wonder how many Cops would risk their lives to make a meth bust, all by himself??
