The visitor center started with
It's a foam carpetty material, not buds.
There was another area with some little neat demos of how a cannabis plant grows - you crank the wheel and a roll of paper starts flipping for a cute animation.
Then we went up a set of stairs and there were 4, rooms of cannabis in various stages, that you look down on through windows.
Started with mothers
Then clones
Vegetative
And finally, flowering. They had just thrown the plants in there, so there wasn't any buds yet.
Next was viewing windows to a large area where they are making chocolate with their partner Hummingbird. The chocolate didn't contain cannabinoids, but was delicious!
There were tons of employees everywhere, and all of them were super nice, happy, smiling, energetic, and enthusiastic.
On the way out of the visitors center, there's a gift shop with merch. I picked up a hoodie and a cap. The wife got a hoodie as well.
Outside of the building, there were some local vendors set up selling various crafts, a Smokey's Poutinerrie truck, a taco truck, and an ice cream truck. Tweed also set up a booth and gave out free komboucha, inspired by various strains. Was quite tasty!
There was a water bottle filling station, there was a very adequate amount of porta potties - which were clean until the later part of the night. There was a vape tent, for medical users to medicate.
There were 3 or 4 police officers, a whole bunch of security, and an amubulance and paramedics.
The shows started at about 2 or 2:30, enjoyed all but 1. It was hosted by Todd Shapiro, and started with Adam Linton and the Wildcard. Adam is Bruce's son who was the lead vocalist, which also included another of Bruce's son, maybe Mark, I don't recall. Bruce stayed on the front rail for his son's whole performance. I enjoyed them.
The night was headlined by a certain special guest appearance at 10 o'clock!
The man himself. Snoop Dogg!! It was fantastic! He put on an hour show, was very interactive with the crowd which spanned the whole yard, smoking blunts, and doing all of the things Snoop does. The crowd started to freely smoke in the yard during Snoop.
Just before Snoop started, it began to rain, and rained pretty good. That was when Tweed employees started going through the crowd handing out thin plastic ponchos to everyone. They do everything right, in the right way.
For the 20 dollar ticket, what an amazing experience. Tweed spared no expense, and everyone had a blast. Couldn't have been more impressed.
Thanks Bruce, thanks Tweed. Here's to your Global Empire.
Cheers!
