TRW are strugglig with growing shrimp beyond a certain size

I don't think that's the only issue. They had a disease issue as well. Let's assume they solve the disease issue, and only grow 6g prawns (166 pieces/kg). We can do some calculations for AF4 (2 buildings).

76 standard APM units = 152 100m3 tanks. They stock them with 600,000/tank. Every 4 weeks.

Then the total output = 152 x 600,000 x 12 cycles / 166 = 6,593 MT. Exactly in line with what we would expect for 2 buildings.

You would need a supply of 1.1 billion flies. Which AF3 may have already.

The profit would be perhaps $3/kg or $20M.

The reason why these numbers are still good is because they still have a high stocking density of some 40 kg/m3.

Or, they can grow them in 2 stages (up to 10g or 100 pieces/kg). Or, they can grow them out in the ODRAS ponds. So size doesn't have to be a problem.
