Broadly speaking, yes. But TA can reflect fundamentals.

If TRW gets $100M financing then the stock should trade at $3 the next day. But it doesn't work that way. It will happen slowly. The result is a trend. Likewise, the downtrend we had was mostly the result of the beef sector not doing well.

The chart usually tells a story.
