Honestly Bruce,
I don't believe comments about a hurricane 5 days from landfall belongs in this thread.
I live in Miami, the local news has been beating the drum on this hurricane for 3 or 4 days now. (They are 2nd only to CNBC in their mind-numbing-ness)
I log in to iHub to get the pulse of the market, and what do I get? yet another picture of a hurricane in mid-Atlantic. (along with some bad recording --possibly from vinyl-- of the Beatles, but you are not to blame for that one <g>)
As a veteran South-Floridean I can eyeball the map and determine that the probability of a hit is still VERY low, it's probably going to the Carolinas and most probably will curl up north, and not even make landfall.
Anyway, I enjoy your usual posts. I just wanted to add my voice asking for a little bit more of focus in the contents of the posts. (And yes. I know. There are many other unfocused posts...)
Cordially,
H.
(PS: I'm net short this market, and if you think that a natural catastrophe helps the shorts think again. What is does is to shake money out of savings and put it back in circulation, and that is short, and medium term bullish, even if counter-intuitive)
