...i sat down this morning at my computer and as always...it was in sleep mode and of course the monitor screen black...i reached out and touched the mouse and instantly in the dark of the room the computer and screen came to life and the light was shining from the monitor. So at that moment the thought came to my mind about all of us that are born again believers. There was a time in our life that we were living in darkness...we were dead in our sins...we were living for satan. However...there came a time in our life that the Holy Spirit had us under conviction and we at some point in time came to that realization and we prayed for God to forgive us our sins...we accepted Jesus as our Lord and savior and the Holy Spirit came to live in us. What happened was in that moment...God touched us and we came to life...the Light came to live in us...we were a new creation thru Jesus Christ..and now that light is suppose to be shining from us unto that same lost..dark and dying world. On the other hand...for those that are unsaved...you are right where the believers use to be and whether you want to believe it are not...you are living in darkness because of the sin in your life. And also if you believe it or not...just as i use to do...you are living for satan. Now you might say...now hold on Rick....im not living for satan...im a pretty good person...well...here is the reality of it...if you are Not living for God then you are living for satan...there is no gray area...no sitting on the fence...because ...light and darkness can not co-exist together....thats just the way it is. The only way to heaven is thru a personal relationship with Jesus...Jesus is the Light of the world...so...why not make this the day that you say yes to Jesus and let Him come into your life for all eternity!
