For the issuance of the stock you'd expect to see an entry debting cash and crediting share hold equity

What the company did instead was credited common stock equity for $50k and debited APIC for $50k basically just a useless reclass within equity between common stock and APIC thereby not resulting in any cash received for the issuance of those shares
