cliffvb: AMAT and LEN
AMAT: Have not heard Cramer's take on AMAT lately, but I think a buying opportunity is approaching.
LEN: I bought 100 shares to start a position, but on reconsideration, I don't like their debt and the low dividend. I sold a Sept. $52.50 call. I like DHI better in the group. Their dividend is over 1 percent and their near-term outlook seems to be pretty good. After the LEN call expires, I might start out with 100 shares of DHI, then build a position from there. Or not.
If the Fed stalls in its plan to raise interest rates, I think the homebuilders might see somewhat of a rally.
