I always thought that KBLB's price of $30K /kilo was a foolish estimate, but we have no idea what Bolt Threads' current production costs are,



We do know that they sold their ties for $5,200-$6,200 per kilo about a year ago. And that was almost certainly at a loss for their promotion.

If they sold it for a profit (even $1), then why wouldn't they keep making them and have them for sale on the Best Made website?
