What were the details of the point in the study they were at ?

Were they already done administering dosage for 2 years already ?

Collecting data on dosage already administered.. is simply data gathering, and I would default to a firm belief that COLLECTING the data is entirely OUTSIDE the jurisdiction of ANYBODY ( other than, the enrolled and the CRO )

To be clear, the FDA can say "Nobody is allowed to take this drug anymore"

They cannot say "Nobody is allowed to ask you how you are doing now that you had already taken a drug"

Total first amendment violation and then some.
