My point is "sales" and "profits" are completely different. If Best Made was making $10 million in profits, like you stated, then Bolt Threads would have a source of decent founding if their VC money dried up.

However, $10 million in sales might not mean the company is very profitable. And retail is known for their high sales and low profit margins.
