To trade at or above .001 is one thing, but, what is important is to close at .001 or above it.

Only this way technically the stock is holding at or above the support.

For example, .001 is now a resistance. Suppose the stock jumps today to .0013, but, pulls back to close at .009. This will not be considered a breakout, even if the stock traded 30% above the resistance. It will be considered a breakout only if it closes above a resistance. Hope this clarifies my position.
