I see this in a slightly different way.....
If our PPS was higher, we'd pop higher.
One reason our PPS isn't high is bid sitting is a disease.
When very few people want to slap the ask, we stay stagnant and trade sideways.
Imagine if 80% of buyers bought at the ask.
We'd move up.
Sellers would see they don't need to dump down into the bid.
Sellers could even move their prices up with demand.
Buyers wanting in would be forced to realize they ain't gettin' cheaper shares.
They buy at the ask or at least raise their bids.
We'd move up.
This is true in SO MANY tickers.
But bid sitting, as I see it, can be a disease that doesn't allow nice upward movement when there really could be nice upward movement.
I dunno if we can really ever see half a penny here.
LOI might not do schitt for PPS. We need the inked deal.
