A video from the Kitco site discussing what's happening with gold. In the discussion they speak to USD strength and weakness in all the emerging countries fiat money, so as the dollar strengthens the rest of the world's buying power/credit power suffers. IMO the rest of the world wants to change this dynamic, they're tired of the dollar dominance and are seeking to bring it down to levels that don't put their fiats in the doghouse.

No one knows when this change will come, but I think we're getting much closer to it happening. Too much debt is eventually going to catch up with it all.
