Why this thread was created:
Back in 1996, there were few forums for investors to peruse in order to come to conclusions as to what is going on with the financial world. I suspected something very strange happening during the "Clinton" years. That was during the dot.com period. All of the rules in the market seemed to violate the regulatory guidelines. Many of you can remember Enron.
I took a deep look at was going on and have published what I believe to be the "influencing factors" that are distorting normal (whatever that is) market activity as taught in the higher academic institutions. I have found them and published them.
Some people will shake their heads at what the real issues are but in fact, they are here. Pretty dark at times, people. I mean, really dark.
At present, the price of gold and silver are both being controlled on the paper markets with GLD and SLV. But until the markets change that is what we have to work with. That is why I'm saying to get SLV at every chance you can. Because I will say this much right now, this philandering of the markets by controlling forces isn't going to maintain it's grip much longer. And when silver and gold break loose (when the collapse comes in the dollar) the price of both gold and silver will soar. And nothing will stop that from happening. Particularly since the dollar is not going to go away overnight.
So, with that in mind . . . good luck with your investing. When you wonder what is really going on out there in this world take a look at what the highlighted posts are all about.
