Just thinking out loud here, but what does that say about their beliefs regarding the future direction of the stock, regardless of when it was signed? The dollar value of the payable, $4k, should have been agreed to in the past.

They didn't seem too concerned about cash when they were settling $45k worth of salary payable, which does not account for any salary that was paid out according to regular pay schedules, i.e., more than $45k of cash was used to pay salary - both current and past due - this qtr.
