One would have to be an idiot to short a 1 cent stock. Even suggesting that someone would be involved in that kind of activity points either toward your inexperience in trading or toward your lack of trading knowledge. https://claytrader.com/videos/shorting-penny-stocks-is-stupid/
If someone is involved in shorting a penny stock, I suggest you watch the above video which explains why this would be a ridiculous strategy.
It's a sucker move.
