LAC's J/V in Argentina transitions from SQM ( $12 Billion market cap) to Ganfeng Lithium
( ~ $5 Billion market cap. )
Ganfeng trades on Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
March 2016: When SQM and LAC first announced their major J/V plans for co-developing large Li resources in Argentina, LAC was trading at ~ $1.90,
SQM pps was ~$20.00 !
I decided to make a LONG-TERM bet on SQM, which pays a good cash dividend $$$$.
March/April 2016: LAC was suddenly de-risked, so I averaged up with a few more LAC shares.
