Ecrypt One is a core component in FirstNet

I am asserting that Ecrypt One is a core component of FirstNet, unless it was replaced with something else. The evidence supporting this assertion is strong and is presented in three sections below: Facts you should know, Assertions, Excerpts from NCOIC and Bravatek PRs, articles etc.

Facts you should know
1. FirstNet Authority is a Public-Private P{partnership (PPP).
2. Dr. Thomas Cellucci is a member of NCOIC’s Board of Directors.
3. NCOIC has been working on Cross-Domain interoperability since 2008.
4. FirstNet is a prototypical example of Cross-Domain Interoperability.
5. Starting in 2014/2015, NCOIC worked directly with FirstNet Authority in a PPP to develop a Cross-Domain Interoperability solution for first responders.
6. In August 2016, Bravatek and NCOIC formed an agreement involving Ecrypt One. NCOIC purchased a copy of Ecrypt One. From Bravatek: “NCOIC can utilize Bravatek’s Ecrypt One as the secure email platform for its cross-domain interoperability projects” [3]
7. In March 2017, FirstNet partners with AT&T to build and maintain FirstNet.
8. In June 2018, AT&T made FirstNet available to First Responders through 5300+ AT&T retail stores.

Assertions
1. Cross-Domain Interoperability is a lengthy development process. NCOIC has been developing Cross-Domain Interoperability since 2008 and has gained expertise in this area.
2. AT&T used NCOIC’s Cross-Domain Interoperability solution in the building of FirstNet.
3. AT&T is a primarily a builder and maintainer of FirstNet. AT&T contributed technical expertise in the areas of telecommunications and networking but the design of the interoperability component of FirstNet was developed by NCOIC.
4. Licensing fees will be paid to Bravatek for use of the Ecrypt One in FirstNet and/or Ecrypt One will receive exposure to industry professionals. (I do recall reading that a Telecom company would distribute Ecrypt One to its customers in exchange for a licensing fee but unfortunately I cannot locate that information.)

Excerpts from NCOIC and Bravatek PRs, articles etc.
The following excerpts provide proof that Ecrypt One was a part of NCOIC’s Cross-Domain Interoperability solution. Furthermore, these excerpts prove that FirstNet Authority developed FirstNet together with NCOIC.

NCOIC-Member Update
“There was also a brief discussion on organizations that could best use the RRI to support cross-domain interoperability, including NATO, FirstNet and USAID. Healthcare and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Response (HA/DR) are considered two global cross-domain targets, where
the RRI could impact critical in real time. Advisory Council members were asked to facilitate promotion of the RRI and help NCOIC seize opportunities to address those challenges facing our
world.” [1]

NCOIC-Value
“Customers
NCOIC is a catalyst for its customers in improving their technical environments and meeting their mission and organizational goals. Past customers of NCOIC include the NATO Communication and Information Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Royal Australian Air Force. Currently, the NCOIC business development team is working with FirstNet and USAID, and laying the groundwork for future projects with the Allied Command Transformation(NATO), World Bank, State of North Carolina and U.S. Department of Defense.” [2]

Bravatek Receives Key Order for Ecrypt One from NCOIC
August 30, 2016 – AUSTIN, Texas – Bravatek Solutions, Inc. (OTCPink: BVTK) announced today that it has significantly expanded its reach within the governmental market through an important agreement with the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC).
NCOIC can utilize Bravatek’s Ecrypt One as the secure email platform for its cross-domain interoperability projects. NCOIC is an international organization focused on accelerating the global use of network-centric principles and systems. The consortium has developed frameworks, processes and tools to enable interoperable networks for greater communication, collaboration and awareness.
Bravatek CEO, Dr. Thomas Cellucci, commented: “This is an important milestone for us. It should provide Ecrypt One instant exposure to both large enterprise and government organizations.”
NCOIC members include industry leaders such as IBM, HP, Boeing and Lockheed Martin. The consortium also assists government customers in implementing cross-domain interoperability concepts to enhance their capability and organizational success. Bravatek management believes that the exposure of Ecrypt One through this important customer can lead to future sales of the product, and may also expose the software to potential acquirers. [3]
Bravatek-Interoperability: Saving Lives and Money
Each year, our military, government and private industry spend billions and billions of dollars on information technology, but more than 30% of the money goes just to getting data shared between computer systems. These are unnecessary expenditures that also waste time, delay action, and have many negative effects on key sectors such as defense, security and healthcare – and on our society. Instead, by using an approach known as cross-domain interoperability, we can significantly reduce costs and speed up the exchange of vital information. [4]
