This morning lets think about a fact of life for those of us that profess to be born-again believers. Its no big secret as we walk this earthly journey. For those of us that are saved...just as folks that are unsaved...trouble..pain and sorrow...comes to us all. The thing is...people react differently. Adversity causes some people to become embittered and hardened...to become hateful toward God and people...yes...even some saved folks get this way. And on the other hand it sweetens and softens and enriches other believers. And in the secular world most folks find it very strange that even in the midst of the most painful circumstances there can be rejoicing from born-again folks. If we remember Paul tells us that we can be sorrowful and rejoice at the same time but many people cant seem to quite grasp that..yes..im talking about believers. Regardless of the pain of the circumstances there can be joy. In the midst of an illness there can be gladness. No matter what crosses our earthly path we can have contentment in knowing that our loving sovereign Father God is in complete control and He always has a plan and purpose no matter what is going on in our life or around us. In and through our relationship with Jesus He will always sustain and give us what we need to endure all by the power of the Holy Spirit that lives in us. Faith comes from our realization that God is with us...whatever problems we may face. So...what kind of problems have you had this past week...this year? Did you face them like Paul and rejoice in them and give God the praise and glory for a doing a work in you...or did you face them like the world faces them without the hope of a better day a coming? How do we deal with our problems...do we become better or do we become bitter? When your going through a difficult time? Do you look and find something to thank God for in the midst of your adversity? Remember...in these human bodies many things can seem impossible...but...thru the power of the Holy Spirit living in us...all things are possible...right?
