Good insights. Clearly, the times, they are a'changin' with new political alliances being formed.
Trump likes to shake things up. Thanks to the Trump administration, we now have political and economic tensions with China, the EU, Russia, Turkey, Canada, North Korea, Iran - did I leave anyone out? And there are no signs that these trade/tariff disagreements are going to be resolved anytime soon. In fact, we are in for a protracted period of trade wars that may never be resolved satisfactorily. Add to all this that the Fed in engaged in quantitative tightening, the Federal debt and deficits are ballooning, and the stock markets are overvalued, and we might soon be in store for a severe correction, downturn in widespread, global economic conditions.
We had a bit of a correction today just because of Turkey. What will things be like if economies start falling like dominoes?
