what you have difficulty understanding is that the current price is not going to be the price when/if they announce there is going to be a recap. the "miraculous" price rise from 2.63 is because price will reflect the increased book value from newly paid in capital and retained earnings. ditto for second equity raise in their model.
plus, at this point, price of both common and pref reflect possible receivership, not recap. will be immediate pop in common and pref when/if recap not receivership confirmed
