Fancy you are on a sinking ship amidst the raging ocean waters. The ship has a gaping hole and she's taking in water fast and furious. Water pumps can't manage this influx of water, and your ship is loaded with tons and tons of gold bullion. The ship is about to sink, and your only option is to start THROWING AWAY the gold. Or, you would be at the ocean bottom with your gold.
The company needs to survive, and they'll do whatever necessary to stay alive. Even if it means dropping the AXAL program.
