All very valid points but let's use the analogy of automobiles. Are there advantages to older models? Absolutely, but the advancements far out weight it in the newer models. Likewise, the ability to hold a much longer charge in lithium and zinc far outweigh the negatives. I don't know about you but I am extremely annoyed with a cellphone that won't hold a charge long. Time will tell.......but I remember people saying the same stuff about smart cars and such.
