Cleaning out clogged tubs:

Ok will not brag how many hours spent on this task to yield extra credibility.
Here is what I have experienced.
Plunger (seal off all air holes before attempting) first level of effectiveness, maybe. However cancel all appointments if not effective as may concentrate clog and totally stop any water from draining, setting off san emergency.
Next is the commercial electric snake, 90% effective, needs some skill if stubborn clog and this may fail.
Commercial vac can be best aide especially if something big fell and will only be moved for moments with snake.
Also usable is a super pressure hose tip, so powerful can break a weak brass fitting, but so easy to operate once you connect to toilet inlet valve.
Many times had to go to the commercial power drain liquid cleanout mix...highly toxic smells and will damage the pipes over time.
In my building with 300 units Clorox is used sometimes when other strategies fail, but again no friend to pipes, but less toxic and must stay in for hours.
Best to really have the thin camera attached to your computer to actually see what is causing a stubborn leak, but can take too long to set up if not part of a customary process.
