So what is your definition of ‘real shareholder’? I did not know there was fake shareholders.

The basic definition is simple - one who owns the stock.

He/she can have different views on company mgmt, company future and time horizon for holding - but as long as he/she owns even 1 unit of stock he/she is a real shareholder.
Company does not discriminate when giving dividend or sending communications
