Similarly Buffett's been asked why he never bought-Amazon. His one-word reply: "Stupidity!"

Actually I would have bought BRK sooner if it only paid some dividend. My stock selections must comply with about 15 long-held rules, but BRK is now my only non-div-payer. I bent that rule partially because I think they'll start sharing their cash fairly soon.

I promise to spend some of my first BRK dividend at Dairy Queen.
