zen big difference and you know it, when the ufc had its first fight, mma was small time in this country. that was almost 14 years ago, they have created a monster with ufc since. ufc has brought interest to pride. pride was hyped big time before the first show in the USA, and they had numbers below 7 different ufc events, and they say numbers will go down after the first show, not up

heck when ufc started if was hardly mma, its was a bunch of big ugly out of shape brutes getting in a cage and swinging for the fence. with a few guys that knew karate or jiu jitsu, so much has changed. the fact pride sells out 35,000 per event in asia and the first event here that many fans would want to see... they had average numbers. many they charged to much, who knows.
