I think it was Hot Rod magazine that had a part by part breakdown of the technical & engineering jewel that the XLR-V engine is!

Of course, the Z06 engine is no slouch either!

And the 4.2L inline six, that they put in the Trailblazers, Envoys, etc., is one of Ward's Ten Best Engines in the World!

It's nice to see good old North American technology at it's best... and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg when it comes to parts. Like Jay Leno recently said on Payback... "I hit a curb with my Corvette, it bounces off... my buddy with his Porsche hits a curb... $50,000 damage"! LOL!
