I know many of my posts recently make me sound bitter. I assure you I am not. HAON has been a great learning tool over the years I have been a member of 'the team'. When it comes to education, I got my money's worth.
I will not even say that what HAON has done is "criminal". It is not. HAON uses the tools of business as they are afforded to them. The problem really is, for the retail trader/investor, that such tools are available to businesses in the first place - NOT - that HAON uses them.
SEC is not on the investor's side. Their enforcement of rules that are 'gray' at best (intentionally so) with limited funding (to acquire sufficient manning or means to enforce) is purposeful. Big business wants it that way and they have the clout to make it happen (I have no intention of explaining this!).
This is the game of investing. The fact that I am here is tantamount to my acceptance of the rules and the willingness to lay down my player's fees (I buy shares). I decided to do so, no one is forcing me. Ultimately, I bear the pain or joy for my decision (as it should be).
HAON has shown me the way of the game like no other. They are good at using the means available to them to work the system and profit in doing so.
My banter on this board is no more than expressing that I have learned, not too happy with what I have learned and wish now to apply what I have learned in ALSO reflecting on my disdain for a system that is so loaded on the front end in favor of the business, not the investor.
Still I intend to continue in the game. Because of my learning experience with HAON, I do believe I will continue playing with an enhanced skill level - knowing now more of what I am up against.
I am looking forward to the challenge. This time, may I also win. Winning is assured for the business, now I also believe there is a better chance that somehow I, the investor, will also win on this field of pink.
It is still better to play in the game than to watch from the sidelines.
