You can't look backwards with a licensing company. It works just the opposite. Each new license decreases their portfolio value going forward. Finjan is also different than most in that their patents are ancient and began expiring last year.

It is a novice mistake to treat one-off revenue as recurring revenue. It simply does not work that way. There are enough ignorant people that fell for their annual paid promotion, but the savvy took their money and the price is moving back down. Every year it drops back lower than where the paid promotion began. This year should be no exception. It should drop below $3 again in the coming months (weeks?).

The timing is different and unknown this year as they are using corporate funds to purchase overvalued shares, but it will drop.
