We sometimes hear about the "Unpardonable Sin"...something that we can do and if we commit that sin God will never forgive us and there is no way - no how - we can go to heaven. And im here today to tell you that that sin does exist and the consequences of that sin really and truly is that God will not forgive us and yes we will not go to heaven...and there is much confusion among a good many people what exactly that sin is. Especially for those that are unsaved. In most folks mind they are scared...freaked out...and rightly so...have i committed that sin...i wish i really knew what it was so i could avoid it...have i already committed that sin and ruined my chances for a home in heaven? So let me for those of you that dont know tell you this morning what the "Unpardonable Sin" is. The "Unpardonable Sin" is if a person never prayers the prayer of salvation and ask for forgiveness of their sins and repents of them...they never surrender their life to Jesus...then...when they die they will step into eternity and go to the torment of hell separated from God and His love for Forever. Once we die there is no forgiveness...there are no do-overs! However...while we are living...if in the past we have murdered someone...raped someone...committed adultery or fornication or involved in homosexuality. If we have had an abortion...lied...stolen...had a drug or alcohol addiction...we can and will be forgiven by God thru the shed blood of Jesus! And God dont just forgive...He also chooses to forget those sins...we are washed white as snow! It dont matter what we have done in the past...When Jesus went to the cross and died in body over 2000 years ago...He did that so all our sins both past...present and future could and would be forgiven. Jesus blood paid our sin debt in full when he gave His life on calvery all those years ago. So...the "Unpardonable Sin" is simply and tragically this. If you never surrender your life to Jesus by the true repentance of your sins...you live your life rejecting the Holy Spirits calling in continued unbelief and you die...that sin can never be forgiven and you will go to hell...Think about it!
