It also might help to look into Michael West's contact with Mellon involving one of Juvenescene's subsidiary's Insilica which used their artificial intelligence capabilities in developing one of AgeX's significant products.

" I can't imagine Dr. West letting others run his company." That's the question now...what is his company. He has so many ties to BTX remaining... and I think it's totally naive to think that Mellon owning 46% of a company in the area of his greatest interest would turn the commercial decisions over to a non-businessman who has his obvious R & D strengths and almost no experience commercializing anything.
