Rule 9024 FEDERAL RULES OF BANKRUPTCY PROCEDURE
Rule 9024. Relief from Judgment or Order
Rule 60 F.R.Civ.P. applies in cases under the Code except that
(1)
A motion to reopen a case under the Code or for the reconsideration of an order allowing or disallowing a claim against the estate entered without a contest is not subject to the one year limitation prescribed in Rule 60(c),
(2)
A complaint to revoke a discharge in a chapter 7 liquidation case may be filed only within the time allowed by § 727(e) of the Code, and
(3)
A complaint to revoke an order confirming a plan may be filed only within the time allowed by § 1144, § 1230, or § 1330. In some circumstances, Rule 8008 governs post-judgment motion practice after an appeal has been docketed and is pending.

Rule 9023 FEDERAL RULES OF BANKRUPTCY PROCEDURE
(b) AUTHORITY TO COMPROMISE OR SETTLE CONTROVERSIES WITHIN CLASSES
. After a hearing on such notice as the court may direct, the court may fix a class or classes of controversies and authorize the trustee to compromise or settle controversies within such class or classes without further hearing or notice.
(c) ARBITRATION
. On stipulation of the parties to any controversy affecting the estate the court may authorize the matter
to be submitted to final and binding arbitration.

Rule 9006. Computing and Extending Time; Time for Motion Papers

(b) ENLARGEMENT
(1)
In General Except as provided in paragraphs (2) and (3) of this subdivision, when an act is required or allowed to be done at or within a specified period by these rules or by a notice given there under or by order of court, the court for cause shown may at any time in its discretion with or without motion or notice order the period enlarged if the period originally prescribed or as extended by a previous order or on motion made after the expiration of the specified period permit the act to be done where the failure to act was the result of excusable neglect.
(2)
Enlargement Not Permitted
. The court may not enlarge the time for taking action under Rules 1007(d), 2003(a) and (d), 7052,
9023, and 9024.
(3)
Enlargement Governed By Other Rules
. The court may enlarge the time for taking action under Rules 1006(b)(2), 1017(e),
3002(c), 4003(b), 4004(a), 4007(c), 4008(a), 8002, and 9033, only to the extent and under the conditions stated in those rules.
