what is state of the art today is antiquated tomorrow. look for another upgrade within 5 years. controls companies will pretty much force an upgrade by ending support for the components of the system. the ability to do in-house installs and upgrades is a good business decision. also, it increases the worth of individuals involved. I know because I lucked out by getting specialized in the field. however, as the controls field became more of an IT field I decided it was time to hang up my coat and retire. good luck. zngy :)
