Jesus read from the book of Is.-----"The spirit of the Lord is upon me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."----
Some omit "He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted." I always found that to be a shame to omit this, someone who suffers a broken heart is enduring great inward pain & trials.......what a relief to know & trust on God to carry us through our times of a broken spirit
Now if I may, a young lady at church spoke with my bride & I in the church parking lot after church this past Sunday......Lori is truly suffering a broken heart, he mother has Alzheimer disease, her mother does not know her husband, or her children, now Lori is very faithful in seeing her mother but through the tears & pain of a broken heart her lack of understanding of WHY comes out.......Normal here, I am not saying otherwise, but a broken heart is such a heavy burden to carry--------Will you good folks here on the Bible Board join me in prayers for Lori that she will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit during her time of trouble and may God giver her the strength and courage to endure.
I have in the past more than once received support from this board with prayers, I am here to say that when prayers from coast to coast and boarder to boarder are raised to God-----the person in need feels the support, and strength and courage come in the time of need------Thank You
