I am not sure how things work when the company is dark. The best I found out is that when asking someone a general question someone not totally the same situation but if a company bought shares but never cancelled them they would still be outstanding. Usually in formal buybacks a company cancels shares , sends a list to the TA etc. Also they are required to keep records of cancelled shares etc. But I have found no info on how that works with an individual and when reporting is dark etc.

All these little things you just cannot find answers on anywhere.


Everything I post is my own opinion and people should always do their own research and due diligence on any company they are looking at
