You are exactly right. Look at the 7/31 1M chart. You will notice that huge morning spike on relatively few shares. I believe the street name for such action is called 'seed money'. Someone kept hitting the bid to lure in traders. If attorneys want to look into securities violations, they should examine the trades to see who was buying during that spike.
