why is some confident "longs" cared about price prior to the final decision?

the price fluctuation will not dictate the final outcome (whether is high or nil) unless these "longs" looking to trim the position before the announcement.

I still have the position.. if they are success in finding a good bid then great... if not i am prepared if it becomes POS
