You are correct. The fact a company is close to production does not guarantee that the SP will rise much or any before production. I think that the SP usually rises soon after production ( e.g., after reports of first shipment, first quarterly reports showing good sales). I saw this with Galaxy and Orocobre and I expect it to happen with Altura. However, all bets are off with the toxic state of the lithium sector plus Altura has a couple of issues that it must resolve. As far as LAC goes, there should be some SP reaction as the company approaches production and releases good news, but I think that the the big rise in SP will not occur until after the quarterlies show the shipments and money, unless the lithium sector is different then.
