Here is a real life example of how business can be for companies..

Back during the recession we had in 2009 a client of mine who had a business he built for years up to about 5 million in sales saw sales decline about 40%. The sold, serviced Industrial sweeper/scrubber machines.

I get a call from the owner of the company saying you need to come down here I am firing everyone and closing up. I got there, and over 15 years of helping this guy I knew all the employees. The guy was yelling and screaming and throwing things. I have never seen someone so stressed out. If he closed up his personal loan guarantees would have taken about 400k of his money as well.

Well we worked out a plan, I brought in my dad to help him. Dad renegotiated loans to get slower payback period and an SBA loan expansion. No one got laid off , everyone took a 20% pay cut. One of the things he threw at me I picked up and looked at. It was a proposal to be the sole distributor of a line of low speed electric vehicles in a 5 state area. Something that fit well with his business but he was not seeing straight. I gave it to his second in charge and we worked on it. And he decided to give it a try. Within a year he had over 1 million in sales added from picking up this line (due tax incentives/credits etc they were popular). As a result everything turned around with the economy and just 2 years later we sold his business for 1.2 million all cash deal.

So one minute you can be gone and people lose jobs and you lose 400k , the next with some hard work you can have 1.2 million.

This is how things are out there. It takes digging and grinding and hard work every day at times.

3 of those employees jobs we saved showed up at My dads funeral services, the same day WSTI started moving (May 25th).

This is what life can sometimes be for small business people ,a constant battle.

Everything I post is my own opinion and people should always do their own research and due diligence on any company they are looking at
