None of this seems to add up and it is starting to become extremely frustrating.

Needing to raise funds of $500,000 was somewhat understandable. Now the rumor mill is they only need "like $50,000".

7 Employees and 11 'Advisors', and they are struggling to raise 50k???

The DNC will not let you run for city council of Springfield, Missouri without a few hundred thousand in DONATIONS.
