Let me do a hypothetical now. Let's suppose you wanted to take money out of a publicly traded company making it look legit. I could say I am going to start a subsidiary of the company. Let's say it was to be a internet dating service. I could then create a name for it. Let's say Hemplovers.com. I could charge the company, let's say $360,000 in convertible debt. Let's say conversion at $.001. I could go out and put together a website that costs a few thousand dollars (at most) and upload it as a temporary dating service website. I could then promote it for one year that it is in the works and I will keep you posted on it's progress. Let's say one year later I decide to convert that $360,000 in stock and sell. If I sold today. How much would I be putting in my pocket? Disclaimer - Any connections to real events are purely coincidental and the names have been changed to protect the innocent.
