It's just a saying. Not directed at you, personally.

I have no idea why these dead tickers occasionally show activity. The only reason that ever makes sense to me is when people dump their shares out of their accounts to take the tax loss. Parking money in them seems dumb. Idle money never makes money.

I'm not sure what site showed you that notice but there hasn't been a change in the ticker symbol except for the time it had the E attached to it by OTCM for a few years for lack of filing.
