he better have a damn good reason when he does because if not I'd make a better CEO than this guy(only in terms of investor relations) cuz I could log onto the net and take 5 minutes to post in a blog what was going on.

Then you really have no idea what a CEO does, and what demands he must prioritize as he does his job. I have served in very senior management in Fortune 100 companies. The CEO's that I have served have most certainly been aware and sensitive to the IR function, and they certainly understood that they worked for the shareholders.

But their primary jobs were to make sure the whole machine stayed on the road, right side up, operating legally, and then making sure that they performed according to plan to make the business meet its goals.

If a major negotiation or problem arose which required direct and immediate attention, it would be attended to preferentially. If it meant that a group of shareholders got stood up, or that some hands didn't get shaken, well then so be it.

I suspect that in the current state of his business development, STUFF is flying at Petar from every direction, including some directions he hadn't even anticipated existed.

I'm sorry that he isn't available to hold your hand while your stock goes down a penny, but perhaps he has more important duties right now, such as running a company in a very important and vulnerable time.

Cut the guy some slack. And to those who equate walking pneumonia with "a cold", I can only suggest trying out a case yourself and see what it does to YOUR ability to whine and wheedle.

Public Disclosure: If it sounds too good to be true, I probably have it in my portfolio.
