Well, they have no cash. Riggs needs $30,000 every month to pay his salary and if you have run out of mugs ("accredited investors") to invest in your never-ending dilution there are not many other other channels. It looks like the folks working on the bitcoin initiative take stock rather than real money so I'm sure that comes with all the "guarantees" which will ultimately lead to millions more stock issuances in due course. The factoring angle is a desperate move from a company on the edge of collapse.
