If you mean the mm's are ripping people off both on the buy and sell sides by the wide spread, then yeah I would tend to agree.
On the other hand for example if you mean that one or more of the mm's or someone else has positive inside information about the stock known only to them and is trying to accumulate/manipulate shares for their own benefit, then imo there is no basis for this conclusion at this time.
