Why would VPLM have products or services that use their own patented technology? There's no need. The big players already beat them to the market with these types of services. They can't compete or be successful in this market, so why bother trying? Seems like a waste of money.

But if they developed the technology and patented it, whether the big players knew about it or not, then what else left is there to do but sue?
