I prefer the half-profile pic of Mal wearing a hard hat in visionary pose gazing at the far off horizon. Some said he was watching the Hunt rig disappearing into the distance on its way to be "winterized".

We never did find out what Tatiana's "special talent" was when Mal judged her the winner in a beauty contest held at a London nightclub. The mind boggles.
