They were ready to produce the EC IV a year ago, but the BOD voted to scrap that design in favor of the EC V. The EC V is a radial design, which is vastly different than the EC IV, and produces the same energy output as the EC IV at 1/5 the size. It is also more efficient and easier/cheaper to produce, so says the IHDR brass. It's a different, and better, product.
